  rotating text around a sphere in invigorator pro

  I have invigorator pro and I’ve been asked to create a globe with text rotating around it like saturn rings. I understand there is a way to do this in invigorator that involves manually placing each letter around a primitive sphere…then turning off the sphere.
  This seems like a very time consuming process for a text with lots of words.
  Is there any easy way to do this

  Hi egeefay,

  You might save some time by putting the text around a circular path in Illustrator, or by setting up the project using placeholders in Invig and using the reload or replace command in Invig depending on how you set up your Illustrator file.

  To be totally truthful the simplest solution by far is ProAnimator.

  When I try to lay out the letters along a circular path in illustrator I get an uneven looking sentence when I try to open the file in invigorator and rotate all the letters to stand up facing the viewer

  The reason appears to be that the letters are not centered straight up and down when they are opened in invigorator but tend to want to lay diagonally

  I tried straigtening out the letters one by one but it’s not an easy fix.

  Wonder if you had any suggestions to make it work

  Howdy folks!

  Sorry to bring this post back up, but there doesn’t seem to be a resolution, and I have been asked to do this very thing.

  I need to know how to do this in 3D Invigorator Pro. I am using it with After Effects 7.0 on a PC.

  I received an email from Serge Hamad with an explanation, but unfortunatley, I have moved on to another employer and no longer have access to the email. Hopefully he will get to you, or you might try sending him a message. His solution worked.
