  • Problem importing a illustrator file

Posted by Paulo Mateus on January 18, 2007 at 7:22 pm

I’m importing an Illustrator file, which contains a logo. The logo it’s a closed path, but, unfortunatly after importing it with Invigorator, I get a 3D of the logo but only the outline (stroke) not the fill, you know, the logo becomes transparent in the inside.

    Any tips?

    Thanks
    Paulo

    Hi,

Did you apply a fill color to your logo?

    Salut.

    Paulo,

Check to see if there’s an unexpected compound path or clipping mask in Illustrator. Using autotrace can cause problems like this.

If you still can’t get it, go ahead and send me the file. I’ll take a look at it.

I already solved the problem removing the stroke in the illustrator that the logo had.

    Thanks
    Paulo
