Mac Pro and ProAnimator App standalone problems
So, I went to use my standalone version of the ProAnimator App V4.0.1 on my Mac Pro (Dual 2.66, 3GB RAM & NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT running Mac OS 10.4.8) for the first time and low and behold I hit a major problem.
ProAnimator launches just fine and seems to come up. But as soon as I try to create any text, import an Illustrator file or add a 3D model I see nothing in the main viewer window. It’s just blank white.
I was thinking I was doing something wrong, or I screwed something up. That was until I hit the Render Frame button. Sure enough the model rendered and I saw my 3D text.
This leads me to conclude that the current Mac Pro with my combination of hardware and/or software doesn’t let me view the main camera/interaction window to do any work without guessing as to what is going on or hitting the Render Frame button after I do anything.
Any suggestions?
Anyone else hitting this problem?
Any idea of when we will see a Universal build of ProAnimator App standalone?
Thanks!
