  Long save times with InvPro 4.09

  I have a fairly simple project using a couple of different separate INV layers with imported .3DS models. Male body, brain, saw, hammer. All in wire frame material mode. Camera, lights all from INV. Not much animation.

  Currently, I have to wait around 10 seconds any time I save the AE project. Deleting Invigorator from my layers does away with the problem. Rendering is fast otherwise.

  Any suggestions as to what I may be doing to get these long save times? Is this normal?

  Hi James,

  It seems long, but I’m thinking Invigorator is actually resaving the imported objects every time, just as the project files include Illustrator art.

  Lots and lots of polygons could be slowing down the save file process. If my theory is correct, there may not be much you can do in this case.
