    Hi everyone-

I am making a rotating (spinning) oval. It looks great except when the sides of the oval are perpendicular to the Invigorator camera-i.e. at 90 degrees. Then the oval gets “clipped” edges. I think it is a problem with “camera clipping”-the object is too close to the camera. Is that the problem? There’s nothing in the manual about this, and I’ve tried moving the camera farther away from the model. Am I going in the right direction with this or is there another way to eliminate the clipping?

    Thanks!!!!

    Hi JodyJo,

You’re on the right track. You can indeed get too close to objects and this can cause what you call clipping. In some cases, this is a desirable effect. For example, you can move the camera around inside an object for tunnel effects.

If you’re too close, you can move the camera back a bit. If you need the appearance of being closer, choose a different lens length setting.

    Does this help?

    Jon
