  Importing media from JVC GY HM790 camera

  A friend of mine asked me to evaluate his JVC camera. He gave me a SanDisk which has a couple dozen clips. What software do I download to be able to get this media from the card to my FCPro edit sequence? I downloaded the JVC ProHD Clip Manager software from JVC, but wasn’t able to see the media to import.
  What vital link is missing here? Thanks in advance.
  BTW, what do other shooters think of this camera?
