  So I’ve done some poking around and have been trying to find some more info on the HM-790U but really can’t find any reviews, tips, examples. I’ve been browsing for a new camera for our small production company and I’m curious to know if this would suffice for our shoots. We are currently shooting on a Sony Z5u and would love to have some more options as far a DOF and customizing goes. We are generally shooting corporate videos for online distribution, local car spots, interviews, instructional videos and social media “how-to” videos.

  Does anyone have any experience with the hm-790U? or anything that would suffice in those areas?

  Basically…I’m looking for something with a decent Shallow DOF, tapeless workflow, and interchangeable lens

  Hi Adam,

  I am also planning on getting this model except for I will go with the PAL models which are marked GY HM79E/CHE.

  I wonder if anyone has hands on experience with this camera, any feedback will be much appriciate.
