Im having an issue thats really slowing down my workflow. I have a bunch of 3d layers in one comp, brought them into my Master comp where i have lights setup up for the whole scene, ive collapsed transformations on pre-comp and made it 3d so lights and camera is affecting it as it should. My problem is when i make a change to my lights, i have to scrub the timeline or purge my ram to get the precomp to update the new light set up. (what was really annoying is i was messing with it for half an hour before i realized i had to purge or update timeline to get it to update). Anyone know a way around this so i can interactively see my update as my moving the lights…this guess work+scrub to update is taking forever. None of the OpenGL settings are fixing it either.
