  JVC GZ-MG330H on Mac

  I a JVC GZ-MG330H hdd camcorder and it is pretty much useless to me.
  The files that come off of the camera are called .MOD files and are not recognized on any program I can convert the files to .avi but when added to after effects there is no audio. Also the quality is not near as good as seen on a AV output from the camera to my tv or viewing on the cameras screen. Can anyone help me get good a good non pixelated clip?
