  Capturing Sony a1U z1U HDV with JVC?

  Hi, I’m just trying to figure out if this is going to work before I go to get a camera. I have some HDV footage shot on a Sony a1u and z1u and don’t have access to that camera. The only HDV camera I have right now is a JVC. Will that capture the footage into FCP? If the JVC won’t do it will a Canon HDV cam do it?

  I’m not really sure if different manufacturers work together.
