    Hello,

I just recently purchased a used GY HD100 from a camera shop in LA. After using it for a weekend shoot, I noticed a lot of “spots” on the footage upon playback (I didn’t have a monitor on the shoot). It looks like a dirty lens, however I cleaned the lens prior to shooting. I took off the lens and it appears that the glass that covers the actual image sensor on the camera body is slightly damaged (it looks like the UV coating has a lot of speckles on it). When I looked at the footage on a monitor without the lens on the camera, the “spotty-ness” was still there, so I feel that this glass covering is the problem. My question is, is this something that may be as simple as getting the glass cleaned or does this need to be replaced? Has anybody else ran into this issue?

    Thanks!
