  GY-HD100 power problem

  Hi,
  Has anyone ever encountered this problem:

  When powering down the GY-HD100 the camera shuts down, then 2 seconds later, it turns itself back on and works just fine with the power shut off!! Doesn’t matter if the camera is running on battery or the power supply.

  Also, when I turn the camera on, the menu screen appears in the viewfinder and the lcd screen and can’t be turned off…except when I power the camera off and of course the camera turns itself back on.

  This is definietly a first for me.
