  DV 500 Box

  Hello;

  I am looking into getting a proper transport box –
  hard-shell or soft – for my camera. Any recommendations, in terms
  of vendor/price/quality? There are places here in Chicago,
  but would like to research options elsewhere, too.

  Hard or soft would have been my first question to you.

  I use larger containers because I am strong enough to life them with a camera and bunches of “stuff”.

  The Port-a-brace quick draw is soft but protects the viewfinder and hold “stuff”.

  For shipping I use the Thermodyne CB-27 which JVC no longer sells but Thermodyne still makes. It rolls better with wider wheels and it also holds “stuff”.
