2d train rig, to follow on a path
Ok, here’s a good one, I need to animate a train from top view over google maps, I have a 3d train but i think its gonna be easier if I can get this setup to animate over google map.Render my train from a top view, 5 layers for 5 wagons. I need to rigg thoses 5 wagon and animate it on a path, now I know I can copy the path in the position to get the motion but is there a way to make it follow the path (banking) and can I link 4 more wagon to follow the first one correctly along the path. I know I can do this easily in 3dsmax ( already have a scene all rigged up) but I think It could be more convenient because the path can change shape length etc, And I need to present the trajectory over google map as I zoom out and having a 20-30 k pic in 3dsmax is not a good idea. Any help much appreciated!
