Text Based Animations
Posted by First Last on January 18, 2010 at 6:35 pmI’ve been trying to find some examples of text based animations and haven’t had any luck, although I do remember finding a thread about that on here awhile ago…
Anyone have some examples of their favorites?
Thanks in advance.

January 19, 2010 at 4:14 pmJust hit youtube and look for “kinetic typography.”
I gotta say, though, if this is what you’re looking for (and not “text animation” which is all clearly explained in the manual and there are tons of examples available in Bridge, kinetic type has seen its day, it is passé.
If your client must have this style, they run a severe risk of being seen as retro, like someone who still puts two spaces after a period.

January 20, 2010 at 1:10 amKinetic typography came to mind, but like you said, it’s been done, a lot.
I’m gonna be building a narrative’less intro animation for a non-profit. Just thinking of a few creative ways to get their message across with images, music, and type.
