  AE CS4 titled EXR support???

  Just for grins, I thought I’d ask if anybody has any experience with this.

  As I understand it, you take large bitmaps and via and EXR utlity, tile it down into small layered chuncks, i.e 64 x 64 pixels, that is basically seen as one large bitmap, but it’s actually made up of several small layers….THUS helping to avoid the dreaded AE Image buffer memory error with large bitmaps.

  You can manually tile stuff in PS I know but it takes FOREVER. (unless somebody has written a scrpt recently.)

  I know you can title an ERX via few methods…the question is, does AE CS4 support titled EXR files? (I know you can import regular files.) Anybody know? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.
