  Audio feedback Issue – Sennheiser G3.

  I have a wireless G3 kit that I got online. Worked fine for a while but now its starting to have a feedback issue. Its a static and a beeping noise that I cant identify. Ive posted a link to an example: https://youtu.be/kpkFA9N4wbY

  I think it might be the microphone because it was pretty cheap, but want to check with you guys before I go buying new gear.

  Hi Devin and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum,

  That’s a sound I’ve never heard before, but it sounds like some sort of local interference to your environment. Does the G3 do that elsewhere?

  I don’t think it’s the mic, unless the mic is receiving the interference. In general, using the more expensive Sennheiser MKE-2 over the stock ME-2 is preferred. I don’t know that it would have solved that problem. Was he wearing a pacemaker?

  Sounds like some RF interference in the environment, have you tried changing the frequency band on which you’re running the kit? I think that kit has an auto search function that will automatically search and select frequencies with low interference.
