  Deity D3 Pro and Tascam DR-40

  I’m looking over the compatibility page on Deity’s website and noticed the Tascam needs a TRS cable. Is this necessary since I will be using the Tascam’s XLR input? If so, which one should I buy since there are too many to choose from on B&H? Thanks!
