  Corrupted .wav file

  Hi all,

  I have received a file from a friend per USB Stick , but the audio file doesnt open in any program i’ve used. I have also used various programs to try to restore it but nothing worked. If i import the raw data into audacity, the audio is just noise, that sounds somewhat similar to the normal audio of the file.

  Does anyone here know what i can do to recover the file?

  The file is fine, it’s just not a Wave file.
  Tell Philipp to send you a new file if you can’t recover it with Audacity. (I can’t, or it was very overmodulated to start with.)
