silent audio files
I have a curious problem with just a few old WAV files.
They were recorded about 18 months ago on my SD552. Sent to the editor along with the camera files. The final edit was all done. Now we need to revisit the footage and although the WAV files ‘play’ but there is no audio. (It’s unfortunate that the original camera audio wasn’t replaced with the WAV’s, but that’s another story)
The files are recognised by QT7 and the info is all correct for audio files. The file sizes are as they should be. We have tried them in other programs. Nothing, silent. This is on my system and the editors system.Does anyone have a solution or an idea what may have happened?

Yeah, very weird. It has size (MB), space on timeline, take number in WaveAgent (an app from Sound Devices) but no guts.
