  Crash Crash Crash

  Hi i’m running After Effect 7.0 on a PC;
  Dual COre AMD Opteron
  Processor 270
  2.00GHz, 2.00GB of Ram

  recently when i either have been ram previewing a project or exporting one the machine has restarted itself, it now has also started to do this while just moving keyframes and performing simple tasks. This could be the PC itself but i was wandering if anyone had experience a problem like this before or had any ideas on how to tackle it.

  Dan –

  If my memory serves me correctly, AE7 (and AE in general) did not play well with AMD processors. I am sure someone more knowledgeable than I will weigh in shortly, but check out the system requirements on the Adobe site in the meantime – there should be guidelines there.
