Copy a .wav sound file to H4N results in “Invalid File!”
I recorded a .wav file in 4 channel mode on my H4n Zoom. Then, I copied it to my iMac to edit it down. (It was guitar playing, with some mistakes that I clipped out.) Saved the file as “GUITARTRACK” on the iMac, then connected up with the USB cable, and copied the edited file back onto the H4N. Now I want to use MTR to play it while I record myself singing along with it.
However, when I select the file “GUITARTRACK” on the H4n, I get the message “Invalid File!”Its a .wav file. Stereo, 44,100 Hz, 16 bit. Waveform Audio 16-bit integer
Any ideas why this doesn’t work?
