  Make music sound like it is coming out of a loud speaker

  Hello all, I am just messing around with audio to expand my knowledge of audio editing, and am trying to put a new song into this scene from The Shawshank Redemption: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzuM2XTnpSA

  I am using Soundtrack Pro, and would love to hear any tips you have for making the song I choose have that loud speaker effect. Thanks!

  You need to “worldize” the new song by playing it back on your choice of speaker and record the sound coming from that speaker at a reasonable distance to get the sound of the room the speaker is in.
