  best way to record with a sound device 702 and mix pre

  while waiting for the 680mkii to hit the streets im renting a sound device 702 and a mix pre for a shoot.

  new to fully understanding good audio as i have previously just used my zoom h4n.

  in a room with one main speaker. was going to put a lav on his shirt hooked up to a senn ew100 g2 wireless into one channel. the other channel hooked up to a rode ntg2 to get room noises and if there are any questions.

  never used the 702 or mix pre before. sorry for such a beginner question but how should i set it up? TIA
