  Dropped Zoom H4N digital recorder

  Hi All! I’m an amateur with recording for sure, but use a Zoom H4N digital recorder for recording music and interviews. I dropped it (ahhh!) and one of the microphones is not entirely attached anymore- it’s a little loose. I am wondering if there’s any way to repair it, either by myself with replacement parts (though like I said, I’m no “professional”) or by taking it to a repair-person. Thanks in advance!

  I don’t know about where you live, but one of the reasons I stopped using Zoom was for a similar problem. Mine broke (stopped working) and there was really no way to send it anywhere I could find to get it fixed. Maybe someone else has an idea. My take on it was that Zoom was a marketing company, and that the machines were made out of the country.
