  AE Freezing when closing

  Hi everyone.
  EVERYTIME I close AE it freezes, and I get a “Not Responding” message in the corner of the window. I save, then close (ie ctrl Q or alt f4) etc, but nothing happens. I click in the AE window again, it goes white and thats that. I must quit with the end process button, or in the task manager. Not tragic, but bloody annoying.
  Any ideas?

  HP 8600 workstation
  Vista Business 64-bit
  8 gigs ram
  AE CS4
  NVIDIA Quadro FX 3700

  Have you updated to After Effects CS4 (9.0.2)?

  Just to put this out there. We have 2 new systems that are snow leopard that do the same thing, the leopard systems behave normally.
