  Point me to the right direction: PA system

  Hi,

  The church needs a PA system for a rectangular room approx 50×15′, 8-10 ft dropped ceiling.

  Having nothing but home theater/car audio experience, I figured that the easiest way to do this was to use these three products:

  Behringer 802 – church already has XLR mics. I figured 2 mics max would be plenty for this room, otherwise they can use the other 1/4 connectors.

  Onkyo AV receiver – 5 or 7 channels depending on price.

  4/6 Polk Audio OWM3 White speakers– probably mounted on the ceiling at an angle.

  Good value is what we’re after here. Equipment that will last.
