Need advice on audio distortion repair
Hi!
I have 18mins of audio that at first seemed to be heavily clipped, but looking at the waveform the signal appears within range with only occasional clipping, but the signal is still heavily distorted. It’s seems the output on the mix must’ve been too high.
I tried fixing in Izotope RX, but have limited experience with the software so while there was improvement, there is still heavy distortion.
Is there anyone that is willing to take a look and see what can be done?

I don’t mind having a look / listen if you uploads sample, but I’m out of the country(uk) for a few days mixing so won’t be back in the studio until about Friday .

Finally managed to get back in the studio and get the computers working again.
Your audio is i fear beyond repair. Had a go but still a lot of distortion left. I think youll have to discover how it happened, cover that off going forward and mark it down to experience.

Yeah, I figured that. I have since conducted a number of tests on an equivalent rig and determined the AF on the transmitter was too hot and that the sensitivity on the receiver was too high. I have since figured out good settings and am definitely marking it up to experience and hoping I can get back to the subject for a redo.
