  Clone tool is not working

  Hi everyone.

  I don’t know why the clone tool is not working. I did it exactly as it says in the AE help tutorial, but it always gives me the message that I have to specify a reference point, but dont worry, I always Alt-click a reference point before clicking straight away. I feel it is a bug, cuz it is supposed to work. Any ideas?

  Where are you alt-clicking?

  If you are in 6.0 I am pretty sure you have to select the layer so it opens in its own window, then alt_click in that layer, and clone away.
