  a good editing software..

  hi is there a better siftware to do editing music files?im just tried magix and soundforge and audacity?magix was a true waste and useless
  piece of crap..

  Do you have a professional need (ie is it worth spending money on)
  Personally Id suggest Pro Tools. Others will be along in a moment to suggest other platforms.
  Are you on pc or Mac.

  Hello Lenny and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

  I’m a Pro Tools (running PT 10 now) user and edit a lot of music. Adobe Audition is also a workable software. I’m more used to PT, though.

  Pro tools and audition will run on a pc.
  It all depends on what you want really. Pro toolls might be a bit of a steep learning curve in the start, but you might already know your way round media applications so it might come naturally.
