  Preview Screen Blanks out over 200% Magnification

  Using AE CS3 on a Dell P4 3GHz, 3GB RAM. OpenGL for previews. (Adaptive resolution blanks out everything).

  I’m animating an Etch-a-Sketch using the Stroke plugin. I’d like to be able to zoom in to the mask at 400% or higher. At 200% everything is okay but when I try to go higher the preview screen blanks out. I can still see the mask path but the text and etch-a-sketch disappear.

  Any suggestions to fix this, or maybe someone knows why I can’t go higher than 200%. My machine is getting long in the tooth, almost 6 years old I think, so I would understand if it’s just not up to that task.
