Does anybody know the correct settings for an Denecke SB-T timecode generator in combination with a Sony PDW-700 XDcam HD camera?
the gen lock settings keep meshing up the camera sync

    Hi Thomas,

What are your camera settings at? What are your sync box settings at? What is the box doing (or flashing)?

    Best,

    Hi Dave,

sorry I forgot to mention the camera settings.
    I’m shooting XD HD 422 25p
The SB-T has its dial on 2 and the dip switches on 00.
I’ve tried 01 (interlaced setting) as well but I keep having
    rolling sync problems.
the box has time code and the green led flashes every second.
On my PDW 510 the SB-T works flawlessly with gen lock.
    regards,

    Hi Thomas,

One more question: what are you using the SB-T for? Are you using it with an audio recorder, or another camera or something else?

    Best,

    Dave J

What are your settings on your recorder? My guess is that a setting on the recorder isn’t matching a setting on the camera. I assume you have the frame rate the same (25p) but what about the frequency rate? Are you using the recorder as the master TC, jamming the camera from the recorder via the SB-T?
