  NOISE REDUCTION in Sony HVR-Z7, what is this?

  Hello I saw in our new Sony HVR-Z7 a NOISE REDUCTION setting for audio. In the manual there is nothing about this… There only says “reduces noise from the microphone”.
  Does anyone know what this setting does and how and when you should use it?
