I am outfitting a new video production truck and need a good audio board. The truck is 22 feet long and we have a need for any where from 20-32 inputs. The current board we use is getting old and worn and we are looking to improve to a broadcast board. I am looking for any recommendations. The purchase of this new production truck and gear is a huge undertaking and I am looking for any input I can get.

Have a look at some of the Yamaha Digital desks (model LS9) seem ok for a mid level truck.
Are you thinking of mixing in surround?
Most of the trucks i have used recently also carry an analogue desk as a sub mixer / standby desk (Mackie 1604 or similar)
