  Question for Ty Ford and others

  We are looking at mixers for a feature film project and we’re considering the Zaxcom Deva 16.

  We want to record up to 8 channels to a hard drive and also output 8 channels to a BlackMagic Design Multibridge to capture audio to final cut pro while on set.

  Any opinions on this unit?

  We’re also looking at the Zaxcom TRX900A with stereo unit for return to the camera.

  I don’t have any hands on experience with that mixer. I wonder if anyone at IA 695 inLA has a comment. Also reach out to John Coffey in LA. Tell him I suggested you contact him.
