  Sony HVR V1U Audio Volume Settings

  Hi Guys,

  Ok, so here’s my issue…. I’m sending line level tone into the V1U which is set on line level on both inputs in the menu. There is absolutely NO dBFS markings of any kind in the viewfinder so I have no way of telling what level I’m setting stuff at.

  How have you guys been setting up these cameras for pro audio?

  Hi John,
  Page 72 of your manual shows you how to display the meters. I don’t know if they have dBFS markings or not.
