  trouble with radio mic

  Hi there

  Having trouble with Sony UWP C1 set,ok I know its cheap but has worked well for years and has Sanken cos 11 mic.

  Trouble is some sort of crackling (hard to really describe )on the sound,happens even when no mic is attached ,to varying degree,s.. Not interference … not cables.. receiver took a bit of a knock recently but not major… any idea,s… could just buy new set.. does it seem to be some internal problem?

  Sounds like a bad IC.

  No easy fix, if it is.

  Sorry for the delay.. been out of town… sorry but what is an IC problem.. sounds terminal.. anyway the kit is very cheap to replace…
