  AUDIO software for VIDEO

  Hi…

  I am wandering if you could give me some input on what audio software would be “better” for the whole process of video production. I actually require that that software give me the option for multitrack RECORDING… I use a MacBook Pro and have a MOTU audio interface (Ultrilite). I edit mostly on FCP and After Effects…

  At the moment I am using SoundTrack pro and like it a lot… but not having the multitrack recording gives me the feeling of not being “complete”…

  Logic Express or its bigger brother Logic Pro would be that natural upgrade paths from Soundtrack, and can handle multitrack audio work with ease. Both will work fine with your MOTU interface.

  people have told me that logic its not so versatile…for this type of work?…mmmm…
  what are your views on this?
