  Good software for making music on PC

  OK

  At work I have Garageband and I love it. It has sound and music loops as well as a whole host of instruments you can compose with. Best of all it has a feature that turns your computer keyboard into a musical instrument..like turning your keyboard into piano keys. Does anyone know of music creation software for the PC that has these features. If you know or have used Garageband..that is basically what I want on my PC. Thanks.

  It might sound like a faff but I’ve got OSX running off a partition on my PC (P4 Asus P4P800E) so I can use garage band and pretend I have a make…. it works well
