  Audio time compression problem

  I’m using Avid Adrenaline to cut a 60 minute show with 14 tracks of audio.
  I slowed down a piece of music using the time compression tool. I then brought the level down in the Audio Mixer tool. This caused the clip to cut out sooner than it had before I adjusted the levels. The clip is the same length in the timeline but the music cuts out sooner, just from lowering the levels. Anyone have any ideas why this happens?
