I need your help, because i have to create a 50s look into after effects and don’t know, how to do it!

    an example video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhPREStJlTg&translated=1

how can i get this look with my HDV 1080i Footage inside After Effects…? I only mean the color in this video, not the graphic effects….

    thank you really much
    greetings

    pretty simple actually.

    1. drag footage to new comp icon, de-saturate footage with color correction hue/saturation effect
    minus-34% saturation.

    2. add adjustment layer, add animation preset image-creative-colorize sepia, adj. layer opacity 10% pink, remove tint effect.

    3. add another adjustment layer above the previous adjustment layer, add same preset, adj. layer opacity 25% default sepia. keep tint preset.

    50’s? Wasn’t “I Love Lucy” a fifties show?
