In my new film, I have a particular sequence where there is a very strong motivation word being given to a group of people in an audience.

The visuals are going to be very strong over this audio (no sync)
I want to effect the audio so it has a sereal dimension, maybe just a delay or echo at times. I want to project that he is speak form his heart — from deep inside.

Remember that scene in the film “Shine” when he was playing the piano in concert for the first time? It projected a “out of body experience” because you really didnt hear the piano, but his heart beat, his fingers hitting the keys (with delay), etc..

I know alot of this is in the mix, but does anyone have any suggestions at all??

    thanks!

You’ll notice nobody “jumped in quickly” on this question.

    Well, JUMP…

    A. I don’t think I quite understand what you are wanting to do.

    B. If I DID, I don’t know how I could tell you IN PRINT how to go about it.

I’d say, your best hope is to find a local audio PRO with pro gear, and explain to the PRO what you need.

With a little experimentation THAT YOU CAN HEAR… together you both can create the SOUND QUALITY you’re looking (listening) for.
