Conforming Pro-tools session to new cut through TITAN
I’m currently having a compatibility issue in my workflow between final cut pro hd and pro-tools. I need a way to auto conform my pro-tools session to my editor’s newest cuts without importing OMFs constantly. The problem is that if he’s making major cuts then I will have to re-affect the scenes. I’ve been trying to use Synchroarts’ Titan with the “auto conform” feature but with little success, the problem seems to be the final naming conventions, it doesn’t seem to be able to read the file names from the EDL which I export from FCP. Everything runs along nicely, it checks the files, says they are in the folder I directed it to but when it comes to actually processing the files I end up with “no audio conformed.” If anyone can give me some insight that would be great.
