  Instances of Vegas still running after the program has been closed

  Hey guys, long time . . I hope you are all well. Yeah so running Vegas Pro 17 (upgraded through Magix from Vegas Pro 16). So when I close down the program I still see 2, sometimes 3 instances of the program still running. Why is this?? I’ve attached a screen shot of my Task Manager showing that there are still 2 instances of Vegas running after I have closed the program.

  I’ve written a couple of scripts, SaveCloseKill and KillAllVegas, that are available in the HappyOtterScripts Free Tool library for use by those having such problems until the underlying issue is fixed by Magix. Here is the link. https://tools4vegas.com/library/

  Perfect Thank you. After using this I was able to install the latest Build 421 using the direct download method.

  Glad it’s working for you. I’ve found that having the KillAll app pinned to your taskbar is a real time-saver whenever Vegas hangs (which inevitably it will so it seems) and you have to open Task Manager to kill the process.
