  Sony Video Capture software

  Hello. I am trying to capture some old VHS tapes. I have Sony Vegas 11 and the capture software is Version 6e. Is this the latest version? Do I have to upgrade to latest Vegas to get the newer capture upgrade? Is there another better capture software I should use?

  Running Windows 10 and the capture device is Canopus ADVC110.
  Fireware output to PC.

  All works but thinking maybe I should be using a better or more recent capture software.

  What you are using is fine. You do not need a “newer” capture software as all it’s doing is capturing DV anyway and it what you have will capture that just fine.
