    Hi folks,

I am working on a project at my home facility using AE 6.5. I need to upload the entire project and raw elements to another client’s computer that has version 6.0. Realizing there might be slight version issues (fonts, effects not shared), is there still a way to get the project to load? Right now, I get an error message instructing my client’s computer to upgrade to 6.5. There has got to be a way to save a project that can be read in an earlier version. Any help here, please???

Sorry, you cannot save to an earlier version. The 6.0 computer must be upgraded to 6.5.

Or you load 6.0 on your computer and start from scratch. Sorry, but that’s the way it works. The developers may have tried that functionality in the past, but my guess is that so many features had to be disabled or reconfigured, that it was dropped. But that’s just speculation.

Did I respond to this question in another forum or was my reply removed? I was just wondering.
