    Hi, guys.

I have a true problem activating the the GPU rendering with all the file formats. Simply, the “encode mode” option doesn’t appears at the time to rendering. I went to the preferences and neither appears the “allow legacy GPU rendering” option.

I am lost. What do you recommend?

I use a laptop to edit (It’s not the best, but works): AMD A10-5745M, Radeon HD 8610G and 8gb RAM. By the way, this don’t happed to me until I update to Vegas Pro 17. I used to work with the 15.

P.S.: English is not my mother tongue, sorry for my grammatical failures.

    [Fernando Ayala] “AMD A10-5745M”

Hi Fernando! I’m almost sure MAGIX VegasPro17 presently doesn’t support your H/W. Sure, prior to this, VP15, would have worked. You’ve got an intergrated CPU and GPU whose elements I’m not seeing are presenty recognised for MAGIX support. I’m also not seeing a way for the “LEGACY” card option as being a way forward. You’d have to research this, but I’m using NVIDIA and that is supported, and maybe the LEGACY card will only relate to NVIDIA and not your GPU – RADEON?

    Hi again, Bernard.

I can’t believe that the things have changed in such a short time. Just for curiosity, I probe 16 version and it works! It’s so… Why? But hey, It’s posible. Maybe the latest updates erased support for my GPU. I’ll be in Vegas Pro 16 for now; perhaps It’s a thing of the first version of Vegas Pro 17, They can change it in the future.
