Right now running Sony Vegas Pro 13, and Vegas Pro 14. Both working great.
So, 2 questions, is the upgrade to 17 worth it?
    and
Will they all 3 work fine on the same PC?

    Thanks,
    Ron

Hi Ron! Coming from VP14? I think you’ll need to be prepared for some major surprises. Will it play nicely with the early SONY edition. Dunno…. But more to the point there is some major research you need to do to see if your rig and system comes up to the required specifications. For me and my new rig, Ah…. YEEEEESSSSS!

I suppose you could install the DEMO and see what’s what.

I have v14. Beware of freebies that came with v14 but do not come with later versions. I have absolutely the need for vital professional Mercalli ProDAD for video stabilization. If you work with later version you likely cannot then open it in a previous version of Magix or Sony, so best to work with earlier version first if you need any v14 freebies. A previous post in Creative Cow stated that stabilization in latest version created a freeze.

    Your new rig, i9, NICE!
So it works great with that PC?

    My main editing PC is:
    Processor: Intel Xeon (R) CPU E5 1650 0 @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz
    RAM 16.0 GB
    64-bit
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
Faster than the speed of light, LOL…
I would hope it would work fine on this…

I missed the recent special, because I wanted to make sure it would not affect my current configuration…
