  Vegas constantly crashes when using stabilization

  So the title says it all.

  Using Vegas 17 and some 4k 200mbps 30fps MOV files, Vegas crashed 99% of the time I use the effect on a clip. For the last 1%, it crashes when applying the effect on a second clip.

  Does anyone here have an idea what causes these crashes or have a workaround?
