Is there somewhere I can temporarily park an event that I’ve edited but can’t use on the timeline at the moment, and so want to park it somewhere where I can retrieve it later? For instance, I’m animating still images and I’ve used my Pan/crop tool to add movement and cropping, etc. But some other idea for that place on the timeline occurs to me, and i want to save the shot I’ve been working on . So, what can I do with that edited event? Do I have to leave it somewhere on the timeline? I thought i could save the pan/crop parameters that I set but that doesn’t quite work when I import the settings. Any ideas?

Hi John! Open another Instance of VP, and “park” it there.

    Hi John,

As Graham suggest, I would save it as it’s own project. When I wanted to use it, I would open the project, then copy paste it to another open project.

I would keep in mind, that a copy and paste from any project to another will only copy and paste at the timeline (track) level. The copy and paste will not transfer any thing done on the project or media bin level. Did I explain that correctly?

    Best Regards……George
